AOC: “We have a future to plan for, we have a future to fight for, and we’re either gonna do that together or you’re going to be left behind… This is about: do you understand the assignment of fighting fascism right now, and the assignment is to come together across difference no matter what.”

The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.

WOW. 81% of women 18-29 voted for Mamdani, 80% for Sherril, and 78% for Spanberger.

Gen Z women aren't playing around.

UPDATE: Two federal judges have ruled withholding SNAP benefits to be unlawful. Our caucus will continue to monitor the situation to ensure no Hoosier goes hungry due to the shutdown.

Calculate how much your health care premiums will go up in January if federal Republicans let health care assistance expire ❤️‍🩹⬇️
Organize. Organize. Organize.

(And invest in the people through policy. Child care, healthcare, public transit, public safety)
When Andrew Cuomo loses today, it’ll show that it doesn’t matter how much money and propaganda you throw at an election—the people will always overcome.

Spanberger: To my husband, I love you with my whole heart. And it is very strange to declare my love for you in front of millions of people.
On top of taking food from the poor, now the Indiana GOP wants the president to sick the national guard on Hoosiers.

Didn't we stand against Tyrants at one point? Now as long as they're Republican we love them?

Nah.

The takeaway couldn’t be clearer: Hoosiers are united in saying no to redistricting this year.

Let’s keep up the pressure and make sure lawmakers do what’s right and say no mid-decade map changes. #INForAll

Thank you to everyone who attended my "Fair Maps or No Deal" town hall this past weekend.

The event was a huge success! Your energy, questions and commitment made it clear that Hoosiers are paying attention and care deeply about fairness and transparency in our democracy.

Pritzker: "Imagine it. Children who woke up that morning, expectant with joy & excitement to put on their costumes & celebrate with their neighbors in what they thought was a safe place at their homes. Armed, masked agents, terrorizing innocent people, especially children, is unconscionable."

REV. BLACK (who was shot in the head with a pepper ball): “If this is what they’re doing to pastors, journalists, teachers, mothers, and the elderly gathered to sing and pray outside ICE facilities… what might they be doing to our neighbors who are behind those walls?”

Welch: "This has nothing to do with the shutdown. The law requires and the funds are available to continue SNAP right now without any interruption. So that is a decision the president is making on his own to allow people to go hungry."

If you've already called or emailed about redistricting, ask your friends and family all across our state to get in touch with their state reps and senators. It's all 150 legislators' jobs to listen to their constituents - so let's make sure they've heard from as many Hoosiers as possible!
This Sunday, we're phone banking to stand up against this hostile takeover of the Democratic process of this state.

Please, join us.

🚨 BREAKING: Gov. Braun has called a special session to redraw IN's congressional maps.

Hoosiers don't want new political maps. Hoosiers want their utility bills, property taxes, and health care costs fixed.

The oath we take is to serve Hoosiers & uphold the Constitution, not partisan interests.

Gov. Braun’s call for a special session to redraw maps mid-decade breaks that oath and erodes public trust.

Hoosiers deserve fairness, transparency & a democracy that honors every voice.
