Some progress on the Stormsurge. I think I've hit the right tone for the structure. Mud needs some work but I like how the blue looks in this setting. Probably give everything an oil wash but I definitely like how the sponge painting turned out.

Ok ignore the damaged paint, this piece wasn't primed but I took a chance. The important part is the yellow. Pro-Acryl x AMP orange yellow straight over the dark blue, definitely not used to seeing yellow cover that week even through an airbrush.

Take your kid to work day. Felt the need to build some Gunpla even though I'm knee deep in work on my cerulean project build so I threw together the Leo I grabbed a few weeks ago. I have S, R, and N as well as Mercurius and Vayeate. I should see if I can find STLs for a Virgo.

Small hobby update, painted a bunch of swatch drones and wasn't happy with any of the blue tones so I spent 4 hours mixing blue paint to get something close to titans blue. Anyway the three little guys in the second image are the base colours for the project.

They responded "I don't think there are any settings on my printer, it's old". They eventually posted some images of the object they were trying to print in lychee and I had to wonder how they got through the initial setup questions without thinking "hmm, maybe I should find out what this means" 3/3

But I just encountered a person who seemed to have managed to buy, set up, and seemingly print (unsuccessfully) at least one object that wasn't the test object that came on the flash drive with the printer. They posted asking for help so I asked what type of printer and resin they were using... 2/x

Just mentioned to @artoflisamorgan.com that there are 2 kinds of people I've encountered while getting into 3D printing the first is the incredibly fastidiousness to the point of paranoia "this stuff will kill you if you look at it wrong" and the second is the YOLO what's PPE? can I eat it? type 1/x

Lol, I saw your earlier post and legit thought you were clowning on their video. But to answer your other question, because they are largely colour accurate you can just treat them like action figures you build yourself, however anything you can do to a scale model or miniature you can do to gunpla
