In other news, I'm redying my hair pink. the last pink, which was called Sakura, looked good for a week or two, then faded. So I have a pinkie-blonde color. Now? I put on BRIGHT pink. Right overtop (yes, I know.)

The neighbors have extra kids there today. They are already shrieking. I dread tonight, because the last time all the kids were there, the adults spent all night screaming at each other. What fun! (not)

I'm feeling better than I did yesterday. Not 100%, but well enough to take Leia for a full walk (yesterday's was cut short by it being cold, and me taking a chill almost immediately... @lucidnonsense.org did take her for a longer walk) I'm eating soup I made yesterday, and I'm content.

I hit 82.3k tonight. Despite feeling like crud all day, I still managed to get art and writing done (both of these things make me feel better. Oddly enough, I tend to be more focused on them when I feel sick than when I feel well) Now, it's super early, but it's bedtime.

The soup was good. Couldn't have eaten more if I wanted to, but I now have sufficient leftovers for a few days' meals. And I gave a big bowl to our tattoo artist ( @jsstacy.bsky.social had a session today). Still feeling nauseous, but at least I've eaten. Drinking lots of water. That helps.

I ended up making a pot of cream of mushroom soup today. I'd bought the ingredients before getting sick, and I wasn't sure I could eat any today...but I didn't want the onions and mushrooms to go off. I'm eating a very small bowl...it's thankfully staying down.

As long as I stay relatively motionless, and just keep pushing liquids, I seem to be okay-ish. Although throwing up seems to engage every muscle I forgot I had.

I should have known yesterday when I coughed so hard I threw up that it was more than something mild. I know there's a stomach bug that's been going around: hoped to miss it since we don't have kids in school. No such luck. Same thing today, but now with added head ache! Fun!

I am tired. I am halfway through my words, but I want to sleep. I think I took the wrong THC. I have an indica blend I use for working, and an indica/cbd blend for sleep. The syringes are identical.

While I was out this morning, I was working on scenes for the book in my head. And realized I want to gut/redo a portion of the middle. Yes, yes. I should keep going and finish the book. BUT...I need to get this bit touched up.

I hate AI with a red hot, fiery burning passion. I can't make them not use my things. But I'll continue using alt-text, because I can control that. And in the end, I'm an artist...making my work more accessible is a good thing :)
