This is one of the small artworks I did today. I wanted to do some minimal/lineart pieces. Unfortunately, the tip of my pretty glass dip pen broke and my new ones weren't here yet, so I used a brush. But that's okay! I like brushwork too :) #art #artist #minimalism #lineart #ArtYear

I forgot to take a picture of today's project, so instead, have a picture of yesterday's work. One of these days, I want to do a detailed graphite image of a cat in this pose. But for now, I'm satisfied with the inks. I miss working with ink. #art #artyear #CatArt

I spent a lot of time this morning learning a bit more about Inkarnate, and making a couple of maps. The first map is from Book 1, while the second is from Book 3 (and had to be made because I was getting lost in the building) #MapMaking #Inkarnate #Writer #Writing
A plain map with a large circular room on one end and a hallway leading off of it to seven bedrooms (three on either side and one on the end of the hall) Each of the bedrooms has an unmarked square on the side away from the hallway that represents the bathroom. A square area is cut out of both the right side and top. The top has several tables stamped near it to represent the kitchen area, while the other is left blank and will be accounted for in another map of the command center. There are stamps for couches, chairs, and bookshelves scattered on the other side of the room. Simple blueprints of a large rectangular building. On the bottom of the image is the first floor, with the garage taking up most of the right-hand side of the map. A stairway is tucked into a corner of the garage. Behind the stairway is a room marked Weapons, while beneath it is another marked Training. On the top half of the page, the stairway leads into a space designated as living area, with spaces marked out for seating areas and another for kitchen. A computer/command room is on the left, and another unmarked room is above that on the map. On the other side of the living area, there is a small hallway with three doors opening. One on either side leading to barracks, while one at the end leads to the bathroom.

This is the model that started my obsession with building. BUT...I only now did it. I thought it would be complex, so I started with chibi, 30MS, and girlpla. I found Garurumon on sale, and grabbed him. He was not as complicated as I feared, and was a lot of fun to build :D #plamo

A large stuffed DJ from My Little Pony is also behind the displays. in front of the displays, there is an unpainted corgi , a fidget bracelet with a bird from one of the girlpla inside of if, a Golden Retriever mage, and a FDM-printed dragon fidget toy. Several girlpla from the 30MS line are visible on the left-hand side as well.

Since finding out when our next/first vendor show is this year, I've started bumping up my art production. I want to get a LOT more done for sale. I have until mid-June, so I've got time. But I procrastinate, so I will need that time.

Today's WIP...an elf and her pet mimic lamp. I got the stl from @twingoddessminis.bsky.social on #MyMiniFactory, and started painting her yesterday. She's got a long way to go before she's done, but I'm really happy with her so far. #minis #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures #Nerdlings

Trying a new style of portraits...loose watercolors with a few defining features. I saw similar on Pinterest, mostly of Old English sheepdogs, and since I like painting dogs, I figured I would try it :) I like it :)

Yes, I'm playing with the 3D printer this morning. I have printed a cow! Currently printing a rose. Which will be displayed under a cloche. Yes, I'm making the Beauty and the Beast rose :D

When you hate stickers, so instead, paint the little bits. The kit I'm working on is Special Week, a Bandai/Figure-rise kit of the Umamusume horse/girl. I would say it's not as neat as stickers, but honestly? With the way I do stickers, yes it is ;) #Girlpla #Plamo #Plamodel

I wasn't sure if this would work, because watercolors tend to work better on smaller areas. Yes, I use watercolors extensively in mini painting. But I really like the effect, and it's exactly what I wanted. WIP for the Tinker Fairy from NErikson. #minis #miniaturepainting #Nerdlings
