This bed doesn't look like anything much, but we are rehabbing it this weekend and planting some honeysuckle transplants to trellis along the garage wall to the left of this little thrown together tableau. Painting will have to be done another year.

A photo of corner of a garden bed outlined with reclaimed chimney bricks. There is an old chain link fence post in the back corner next to the yellow garage, right outside of the side door to the garage, and there is a very straight, edged shovel leaning up against the garage. A handful of hosta plants growing in it of various sizes and colors, largely featured in the dead center is my huge cold water Agate in limestone boulder. It's about 2 ft on each side and is made up of weird, strange-shaped vertical tunnels that are lined with druzy in shades of Gray, red, and purple. There is a piece of busted concrete with a swirly pattern on it and a couple smaller rocks situated at one of its corners to make it look a little prettier. This patch is in dappled sunlight in the photo.

Maybe it doesn't make sense, but I feel like the random pile of rubble and bricks I've got going in the backyard really pulls the whole thing together.

And then buttons are pentacles which means that I have chosen the absolute perfect for me number of buttons to commission. And I will have to hang it upside down.

The suits are flies, pills, cicadas & buttons. Hearts, spades, diamonds & clubs have had their day.

I wonder which of these correspond with which, amor what the tarot correspondences would be. Feels like the flies almost have to be the spades in this situation. Appropriate for the seven of swords, for sure.

He's getting braver about sleeping up in there when the dogs are in the living room. There's a heating vent right at the bottom of this cat tree, so it will be nice and toasty when winter hits. Last winter, the situation was still too new and hectic for him to want to use it much.
