Gaano ka-cheapipay ba ang Metrobank when it comes to servers ng online app nila kasi laging napakabagal.

Out of the 3 banking apps I use, sila yung napakakupad ng loading time.
Lugaw with a backstory. 🥣
The guy messaged me after maybe 3 minutes and I was already 50 meters away. Wanted me to go back but still wouldn't tell me where exactly is his house or what's the gate color.

My mind is already on getting myself some lugaw so I blocked him and headed to a lugawan I passed on the way.

That Teen Vogue would nuke the team that has brought us uniquely clear eyed and incisive political journalism over the last decade aka THE PUBLICATION'S PRIMARY DIFFERENTIATOR in an oversaturated Bootlicking Slop Landscape is......................stomach turning, honestly.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
While I'm not above agreeing to a Grindr hookup at dawn, is it too much to ask for horny gays to give some thought about the logistics of hooking up? I already volunteered to bring the lube and condoms ffs.
Someone wanted me to go to their place for a quickie at 3 in the morning only to play coy on where their gate was.

I didn't even bother waiting 2 minutes—I left before anyone saw some sus rando standing alone on the street.

I logged the walk as exercise and got some lugaw before heading home.
There are at least four internet service providers available in this house but none of them are working properly

PUTANGNA PILIPINAS WHY DO YOU FUCKING SUCK SO MUCH

Used to be the point of having a closed account was like, “Where do I post my mean thoughts,” and the actual answer is you don’t have to do that when you can just go talk to people who care about you and will work that stuff out with you.
Inabutan ng ulan. Stuck muna sa Manila for one more day.
One is along EDSA near P. Tuazon under a "bawal umihi" (do not urinate) sign. The other is a larger mural in Kapitolyo near the Lawton Bridge (my bike Bhramari shown for size comparison).
Same artist, sane character, seven kilometers apart. These are two wall graffiti I saw while cycling from Cubao to Pembo on Saturday.

Both are grumpy cartoon dogs with a raised leg to pee.
Nakailang bucket tapos natanong namin kung baket parang ang aga namin natapos sa Jeongwon (kasi maaga kami nagsimula).

Yung complete group photos from last night, thanks to @chichar-eon.bsky.social
Not the complete group photo from last night, just the non-smokers.
When I arrived at the apartment building, I had a sense of deja vu. I've been there before and wondered if the guy I'm hooking up with today lives on the same unit.

He doesn't. 😅
Same. I started needing glasses just last year.
Nakakainggit yung mga near-sighted, they don't have to wear their eyeglasses kung babasahin ang phone 👓
A Friday afternoon break after I dropped my clothes at the laundry shop: Zesty Bloom spritz (decorated with a dried sliced lemon and watermelon gummy candies on a stick) from Mozaic while I pretend to work on a website draft.
So lately, I've been hanging out three days a week in this art space in case anyone wants to have tarot readings.

I think it's time I start expanding my wardrobe again. Pambahay chic is getting old.
The very few left are in worse state of disrepair. Dollhouse still stands, one of the last from its era.

Walking Street is still a colorful entertainment district but it's become less distinct because of the lessened tourism and changes in clientele.
About a decade later, I moved to Clark for work. And I decided to go back to Walking Street for some nostalgia trip.

It's heartbreaking to see what's no longer there. Many of the large ornamentations, many of the eye-catching signage—they're gone.
One of the buildings is Dollhouse, inspired by the iconic android in the silent movie, Metropolis. At that time, the US military had already left Clark for about two decades and Walking Street was past its heyday.
This is the facade of the Dollhouse Bar.

Maybe a decade ago, when I first entered Walking Street in Angeles, I was wowed by the styling and decorations of many of the buildings in the entertainment district. It was gaudy and tacky and ostentatious, as what an entertainment district should be.
Huge-ass land snails always make me stop and look at them with fascination. An invasive species, they were introduced to Southeast Asia in the early 1900s and can be found in many grassy areas of Metro Manila and other Philippine cities.
