They understand that if the cuts happen before midterms, they will loose a large part of their base. Normally, this alone should bring them back to negotiate, but it’s mostly about hiding the Epstein files. Not sure what they fear more, trump or their own constituents. My guess is trump.

Same here. I became the black sheep, because while my other sisters submitted to the idea of second class citizen/human, my soul fought back. I knew my worth. I knew their worth. I loved to read as a child and they didn’t. I think that helped me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t give them their power back.

I can confirm that many women from daughters to wives attached to such toxic men tend to feel their value is only tied to their fathers or husbands. I was one of them. So was Mom. What kept me from being MAGA was education. Literature, history and science, and art. Education helped me break free.

We’re in this mess because a ruthless minority runs on hate and fear. We couldn’t believe people could sink this low—but they have. They threaten, bully, and break the rules to stay in control. Once everyone wakes up to that, change won’t be a choice—it’ll be inevitable. We know what must be done.

Many in the GOP believe Trump—or Vance—will hold power in five years. They seem to have a roadmap for undermining future elections, with a final plan: if all else fails, Trump could declare martial law and suspend the democratic process.
