most normal people do too, this is a particular pathology of mine that i get from my mother. it runs so deep that at a memorial for her after she passed with some people i didn't know, they recognized me before i spoke to them bc i was wearing sandals in february.

i think a lot about my ex-grandfather in law, who was so proud of his jewish heritage and *so dedicated* to palestinian self-determination. i think about how people erase jewish voices for peace all the time.

the truth is the truth no matter how hard tyrants want it not to be.
