A warning has been issued after fake letters were posted through letterboxes, claiming people would have to house refugees if they flew St George's flag.
The letter said that "patriotic" households displaying the country's flag will temporarily house refugees because ‘we know you would be proud to assist your country’.

We're hoping that the dog here just needs to settle in but we're not convinced. The attitude in France often seems to be "bah, vous voulez qu'on fasse quoi 🤷‍♀️?". Err, look after your dog & don't leave it alone all day would be a good start 🙄!

I feel your pain! We have the same problem with new neighbours (who we haven't even met yet, they're never there but leave their large dog oitside all day). Dog is either barking or howling. Would rather avoid first meeting with neighbours being about that but seems be heading that way 🤷‍♀️

Unbelievable that the students were expected to find their way regardless of the weather / lack of transport but perfectly accectable for the tutor to cancel! Was a relief to be fair but not the point!

Hope the airport trip was sans problème, wind etc started during night here, was ok last night.

Daughter update - person who was meant to be doing project with them today had no train so cours cancelled, after all that. One rule etc... Couldn't make it up 🤷‍♀️
