He has learned to control most of his tail, I mean, if you compare ARR tail to DT, DT tail isn't as expressive, but the Scions have learned to tell his irritation by his tail.

Yes. That's why he let's door wide open and has to turn around to go shut them when someone points it out. He also sometimes trips on it and has toppled things over with it. Especially because he does not have the grace of a cat and his tail is more like an overemotional whip than anything.

The idea of 'soulmates' disturbs him. The idea of the person his soul is bound spending eternity thinking of when he'll show up, because fate isn't always kind. He much likes the freedom of people just falling in love because love happens.

Khal does not believe in soulmates. Though he does believe in fate, he does not like the idea of two souls being bounded for eternity, especially when you put into the equation mortality. What if his 'soulmate' happens to be one of the half stranded on the moon for the last 10k+ years?

Khal has tecnically learned the basics of all the jobs there is to learn. He's a quick learner. Reason why he does not ace all of them, it's beacuse he does not like the style or it does not suit him. For example, he is a great pictomancer but dropped it on vainity alone (looks dumb, same with war).

As for mental health? He's recuperating. Feeling loved does wonders, and he is finally dealing with the feelings of grief and guilt. Of course Calyx came around and put a dent on the world ending thing, and with his luck, Khal is certain that guy managed to escape somewhere. So yey existential dread

Physical health? Manageable. Khal has muscle memory pains when the weather turns, and he lives with chronic pain on his left shoulder, he just tells no one (Imyril has noticed though).

Imyril is deaf but she hums, especially when's deep at work or doing something that requires her attention. Khal finds it the most endearing, lovable thing ever. Once she spots him he's just staring at her with that stupid "i am so in love" smile plastered all over his face.
