My 11-month old grandson has STILL not received a single Covid vaccination, because our Maple Maga #UCP (ISeeBS) government has deemed that it's not necessary.
Why is it like this? Does this not violate Albertan's rights as Canadian citizens to access to health care?

Now my stepmom is in the hospital with a partially collapsed lung. We still haven't figured out how she can be vaccinated--hopefully in the hospital, but we aren't sure. /4

I'm in a different city, and here, out of the, I think, 4 available locations, neither of the ones on the west side of the city were in locations easily accessed by LRT. I'm guessing accessibility in my dad's city is likewise limited. /3

They thought they could still go to their pharmacy across the street. Nope.
They have to try to book an appointment, which is proving difficult and frustrating for many people right now, at one of the very few locations available in their city. /2

Whether or not you side with teachers, whether or not you support the concept of unions, if you believe in democracy, you should be horrified at the #ucp 's use of the Notwithstanding Clause to override the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in order to remove democratic rights from citizens.

The AB govt out of line. I will NOT show anyone my passport or birth certificate in order to renew my driver's license. I'm a dual citizen: of my First Nation, as well as Canada, & if my FN citizenship won't be recognized & noted, then I won't participate. Treaties are agreements between NATIONS.
