Thought of cutting and sticking things like honeysuckle, buckthorn, callery pear, autumn olive in my front yard for scary decorations.... anyone else doing that

She also started thinking if filtering run off through the same substrate 3x will make different water results - so she's testing that

And then she captured the runoff into jars to be tested for ph, ammonia, phosphate etc (that I took her to work for)

7th grader doing science fair. Bc teacher told her she can't do pollinator observations (no independent variable) she wanted to see if different soils filter water differently. So testing though sand, compost (she thought it's a good sub for organic soil) and mix

Awesome! So, theoretically (or maybe practically) speaking, would you be able to extract the remnant community from a remnant desired spot and amplify those results to be used on a nearby restoration?

(Ie not using a stockpile community but figuring out what the local community is and using that)
