TWO years post-op. TWO years seizure free! I'm incredibly grateful for fam, friends, docs, *science* that got me here.

I'm happy to talk to anyone having any type of brain surgery.
I had diagnostic S-EEG, then Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT). Red dots are the ablated culprit area.

Multiple airports are now announcing they will refuse to play Kristi Noem’s government-funded video blaming “Democrats” for the government shutdown.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

I know people who would LOVE to expend energy on this for other people. And some people who are really good at it - I got logic, which they don't give a shit about - a good friend does tears, and she always gets it.
