This is a strange one. Sounds like Diz fronting Gil Scott-heron's band of the time. Uncredited guitar player takes up a lot of solo space. I'd probably keep an original, but....

There was a style just before grunge that never got a real name, but you can find all sorts of examples on Touch and Go and AmRep. Sludgy, twitchy, and lacking in technical skill. I dont need to keep this, it doesnt give me any excitement.
