The Dems are going to cave first, right? The bottom line is that Democrats believe in governing and Republicans don’t.
A lot of them love it. It's owning the libs, writ large.
You have to have been terminally online to get this joke, but it’s a good one. Also, briefly we had Twitter and it was good.
Designer: all right Mr. Del Toro here’s those Frankenstein’s monster designs, real sexy just like you asked for.
Del Toro: (nodding) this is exactly as sexy as I asked for.
Just finished the Martin Scorsese documentary, which is great. But I feel for his daughters from his first two marriages who had an obsessive, driven, coked out, largely absentee father, compared to Francesca, his youngest, who is doted on.
That’s a good guess!

Heathers? That could be first.
What was the first film where someone points out all the different cafeteria cliques to the new kid? Does it date back to John Hughes films? Was there a scene like that in Clueless? I ask because I caught a bit of Disturbing Behavior last night and Nick Stahl does an expert version of that trope.

I am loath to use the word "pseudointellectual" but it applies to Luca Guadagnino's AFTER THE FALL. My review.
Movie review: After the Hunt - Baltimore Magazine
Julia Roberts deserved a better script.

Rumsfeld! KISSINGER! 💀
So Donald Trump was just awarded a Nixon Architect of Peace award. (Yes, it’s a real award.) Let’s see what other peaceniks have received this incredible honor!
I remember when Trump first got elected and met with Obama in the White House, he looked a bit dazed and I thought, perhaps, the gravity of his new role had hit him. Joke's on me! He's incapable of seeing himself as part of anything larger than himself because to him, nothing is.
Remember when, thanks to American Eagle, it was finally safe to wear denim again?
(They've internalized Trump's insecurities in a way. The peace part isn't important, it's Trump getting CREDIT that is important.)
I've seen a lot of right wingers say, "Liberals hate Trump so much they can't even thank him for brokering peace in the Middle East." Which, well, he hasn't. But also, why is our approbation so important to them?
The Connections assessment of how tricky a puzzle supposedly is has no relation to my lived experience.
My favorite current commercial is for Home Title Lock, where they spell out, quite explicitly, how to commit title fraud, and then tell you you need to buy their product to be protected from said fraud.
Amazing! 👏 👏👏
It's funny when Trump says that Israel has never been more respected—clearly untrue—because it mirrors when he brags that American has never been more respected.
How can I read Woody Allen’s remembrance of Diane Keaton without subscribing to the Free Press? Halp!
If Biden had tweeted this there would be an MSNBC special report and a George Clooney op-ed within hours
Yes, these are just the celebrities I was hoping to hear from regarding Diane Keaton’s death
I keep thinking of the word "delightful." Have we ever had an actress as delightful as Keaton?
