If I remember: left stick is for Forward or backward motion (I think it's strafes left and right.. or I think it rolls) while the right stick is pitch and yaw.

It really comes down to preference, but twin sticks or a HOTAS setup can make so many games incredibly immersive. Back in my Windows 95 days I was stuck with just a keyboard and mouse, it was still a blast. Great now I'm kind of itching to play either PC or PS1 of Descent. 🤣🤣🤣

I completely get it! I took a gamble on my setup too, and I’m super glad I did. Descent plays like a dream with a twin-stick configuration—takes some time to master, but once it clicks, it’s pure immersion. Has that same Steel Battalion feel, just not tied to one single game!
