Flying over to Portland tomorrow morning. Up early and first flight from Lambert to Midway at 5:40a, 1 hour layover then Midway to PDX at 7:50a. Definitely taking a nap on that second run.

Should be landing in Portland by 10a PST.

RIP Tomonobu Itagaki; he made some rad games, and he was a truly fun and compelling interview subject. I'll never forget a time when he mentioned that I'd given VF4 a higher score than DOA3, and then gave me an insanely difficult pop quiz about VF minutiae (like frame counts) that I utterly bombed

Such an unfortunate thing to wake up to this morning. I had the privilege of speaking with Tomonobu a few times on Facebook, and he was always gracious and insightful.

He will be deeply missed. Tomonobu's legacy and ideas will continue to inspire many others.
