Any recommendations for a replacement for the PS5 controller that is not made by Sony, since they demonstrated that they don't know how to produce a usable controller? The stick drift is unforgivable.
Yeah but most of those X-Wings got shot down doing that. Their KD ratio is basically the same as the Y-Wings.

This is Non and Asa. We do not know which one went into turbo mode first. But we do know it is highly contagious. 14/10 for both (IG: asa.n.kuroshiba)

They were just tired from KO'ing a Star Destroyer at Scariff. Not sure what excuse the X-Wings had for doing just as poorly at Yavin.
Fun fact: The Iliad and the Odyssey actually take place on the Great Lakes. Also, it took Odysseus so long to get home because they didn't have cars back then.

Anyhow if anyone out there just genuinely liked Columbus Day because it was basically Italian Pride day, you'll be happy to know the Italians get an entire heritage month, except in the DOD.
Worth noting, I only memorized a handful of phone numbers. If a phone number was important and it wasn't listed on a directory, I just wrote it down, which is still mostly the case when I use the desk phones at work.

Folks who enjoy to consume their stories in comic book form (including manga) or audio book form are no less well read than those who read “real books”.

Visual literacy is a thing. Auditory comprehension is a thing. We shouldn’t shame anyone for how they choose to engage with literature.

Now I am wondering if the book was meant to be a cautionary tale about cults or something.
If she was the nurse who figured out something fishy was going on, I recall being struck even as a teenager how passive she suddenly became in the story once she fell into Michael's orbit. Which to be fair was true of a few of the men in the same situation.
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are both Isekais.

When the only Italian heritage anyone in the US wants to talk about is a shitty navigator who introduced slavery to the Americas and who was later arrested by the Spanish for being a shitty Colonial administrator too.

Reading Heinlein is one of those experiences where you just sort of get a window into another era or culture. When we say he was progressive for his time, it's worth noting he started writing in the 1920s.
What's a fun and annoying history fact you've learned recently? I'll start:

Modern-day Marathons are not based on the distance from Marathon to Athens, despite the popular wisdom. (1/2)

books should have an anti-acknowledgements section where the author talks shit about all the people who fucked them over while they were trying to write the thing. not bc I personally want to write one but bc I love gossip
