It never ceases to amaze me what books have been challenged. Especially now that it’s coming out that most of the challengers haven’t read them and in some cases are just going by the picture on the cover. 🙄 I will admit that it’s been a minute since I’ve read ALitA, but what could they object to?

I need to follow this thread…I’ve been working more banned books into my rotation this year and some of them have been really…not good. Not as in “this content should not be available”, as in “had this author ever read a book before?” A few relatively recent keepers: Grown, Born a Crime, Homegoing..
