Here’s the same clause in the bsky TOS. Note how the example usage they provide sounds reasonable, but the license is practically identical to the one in the Instagram TOS

I’m begging people to understand what they’re agreeing to when they accept the terms of service. To be clear, I don’t think this should be legal, but it is, and these clauses are in the policies of every social media site, including this one

I’d like to see the numbers for the same question reworded as “do you think your family member being LGBT is ever an acceptable reason to cut off contact with them?”, and I expect the R numbers easily match the D numbers in this poll. The difference is almost certainly only in framing

No worries, I assumed you were talking about a hypothetical candidate that supported trans rights lol. And I DO think that candidate would win even without our votes. Maybe it’s just hope, but I feel like Pritzker beats Newsom easily. Hopefully it’s neither of them, and we get someone even better!
