I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

Trump’s statement at the UN that climate change is “the biggest con job ever perpetrated against the world” sounds like projection to me. If you have spent your entire life pulling con jobs, everything you look at, you look at it through that lens. It tells more about him than about climate change.

Haven’t read this in detail to have an informed opinion about this specific paper, but what strikes me is that the more we look at these problems, the conclusions seem to be fairly consistent. We are not heading in a good direction…and we are doing little about it.
