Food bank employee: I can't remember a time when our shelves have been so empty. Over the last nine months, we've been seeing prices rise pretty high. Families are already struggling. So when you take that additional money away, food is going to become scarce.

Again with the "you didn't know it was a Nazi symbol". That does not in any way absolve the person who had a Nazi tattoo. You understand the concept of a dog whistle, right? And you know that Nazi symbols are meant to be dog whistles?

Sources tell me Platner might have a history of domestic violence but the women did not want to press charges. I wonder if any of that has surfaced yet. Surely the journalists in Maine have combed through all this?
