my dad died yesterday at home next to my mom. it was sudden but not unexpected. here he is getting arrested at an anti-war protest in 1970 in Chicago. he was a history prof who taught me to never give up hope that a better world is possible. i love him and will miss him.

A small organized group effectively stopped Patriot Front from being able to produce propaganda and recruit at an anti-choice rally last weekend. Instead of the usual barge of videos following rallies, PF has been sharing videos of past rallies alongside photos of last weekend.

NEW — Sean Grayson, a former Sangamon County Sheriff’s deputy who fatally shot Sonya Massey in her home in 2024, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Grayson had worked for six different LE agencies in Illinois over four years despite a history of misconduct.

The city's northwest side rapid respsonse team is reporting 2 people taken this morning from Chicago's heavily Latine Humboldt Park neighborhood, and advising that agents may still be in the area.

"basically ended" is doing a lot of work here Chris. I woke up to a flurry of alerts about DHS activity in Chicago today. Also this post implies that Midway Blitz was an aberration. It wasn't. Behavior/tactics of DHS-agents have been aggressive since June, never changed.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic

It was astonishing to learn, in 2021, that Tarrio's own lawyer had characterized him/bragged about him in court as a "prolific" informant for the feds saying that his work had led to the prosecution of 13 people on federal charges in two separate cases.
Enrique Tarrio is a well-known snitch who became an informant after he was arrested in a separate case from 2012.

a judge in D.C. issued a bench warrant today for former-Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and he is already trying to fundraise. Tarrio tries hard to make people not remember him as a snitch.

Abel Garza, 29, an off-duty Border Patrol Agent from Laredo TX, was arrested on Jan 15th, 2026 after pointing his firearm at a woman in what officials described as a "domestic incident".
