I don’t remember when I first fell in love with the Mariners, but I was eleven years old in 1995, and it serves as a good benchmark. I remember EVERYTHING about that postseason. Here’s to baseball as the thing that keeps families connected.

Because the Mariners are good now, I’ve had a few strangers in Philadelphia ask me how long I’ve been a Mariners fan. The answer: 30 years, bitches. I cannot believe we’re here again for the first time since I was in fucking HIGH SCHOOL. Crying, sobbing, weeping.
