Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.

i've been sober from alcohol for 2 weeks & im about five days into some other big lifestyle changes & i feel good & the momentum is positive up in here. disconnecting from social media is helping a lot; i only go on bsky if i'm on my computer now. i'm reading more & doing stuff in my community again

today I rearranged more furniture and moved this entertainment center to our living room because it honestly deserves to be SEEN and LOVED
