Excited to announce that I am officially a guy that uses a monitor controller. My reasoning was that big volume knob is better than small volume knob.

Update: after purchasing a second set of cables, and a new (to me) Audient preamp / converter box, I have finally gotten fully up and running again 😅

Internet says 50 ohm BNC cabling is fine. Lies. Wouldn't work at all until I got 75 ohm stuff and it's still fussy. Not my favorite experience.

Full band client session today and I was fully prepared for something to go horribly wrong but it went off without a hitch!

Finally got everything up and running! The process wasn’t pretty and neither is the rat’s nest in the back lol.

Had to downgrade one of my units to a Behringer Ultragain to make it work, but I did some test drums and it still sounds good, especially after dialing in the Motu’s onboard EQ
