I want to use 'esoteric' but I want to mean 'playful, but not in a whimsical way' - what word do I actually want to use?
mrlockyer.bsky.social
Potentially, but the task isn't jovial in the 'funny' sense. I know there's a word there, but it's just out of my grasp!

This is such an interesting article and I really want one!

Yes, maybe. That comes across as worthy, and I'm trying to describe something as playful without being juvenile.

Being in your forties seems to be a perpetual loop of trying to drink enough water to stave off headaches, and not drinking enough water so you don't have to get up to go to the toilet during the night.

Nothing enormous - but I did get sent the proofs of Sjandiva, the latest puzzle book (disguised as a travel guide!).

Late orders still welcome! www.kickstarter.com/projects/166...
Sjandiva, the meta puzzle book

Taught Reception for the first time in 27 years today - loved it!

I have a particularly tricky puzzle that needs a play test. Full support given, and you also win a credit in the Sjandiva book!

Not complex, just needs a good eye for attention.

Would take 20 minutes/half an hour to complete.

DM me if interested.

If you live in Surrey, and are looking for SEN/Deputy roles, I can highly recommend this school.

It's the only school I know which offers a site-wide *four* day working week. Genuinely!

It's not inconceivable that Elizabeth from #ThursdayMurderClub would have at some point in her past potentially worked with Jackson Lamb from #SlowHorses.

+1 vote for a #SlowMurderClub collab.

Okay, this is actually brilliant. It's like having a soundtrack to your day.

I'm testing out Opera as a browser, and it has this ambient soundscape you can put on, which creates music with your typing. It's a hypnotic gimmick!

I was like that when I started reading 'A History of Glue'
