We've opted for films with hooks as our 'weapon of choice'. So far, we've slated the 5 x 'I know...' films, 4 x Candymen, Lovers' Lane, The Mutilator, and The Fog (a life long fave of mine.) I'll probably rewatch Jamie's hellpriest scenes from hellraiser '22 alot, for reasons.

My housemate & I use this big red jug full of prompts to pick films for our movie nights. This covers obvious prods like vampires, hauntings, and evil objects to unseen criterion closet picks and films with the same name (the two 'Christines' was a journey!) This week... 1/

All the videos we see of ICE/police/military assaulting people on camera are happening because they know they will face no consequences for their actions. They're breaking the law because they believe the law no longer applies to them. What kept them in check before was fear. Now they have none.

Outside of the house twice in a week. Behold my boldness! My bff & I went to a local (massive) antique & collectibles bazaar for our own bash at Bargain Hunt today. I scored a few gems, and we had a great laugh. One of my fave sanctuary places with luvvy staff, lots of treasures to sift through.

The awful incident at the new library last week really knocked me about, leaving me locked in since then, but I made the effort and ventured out into the world today. Admittedly, it was only to the post office. I flipped some old anime DVDs and was able to afford tix to see Dogma. Win.
