As a lifelong pokemon addict, Nintendo/GF have really been losing me since the switch to Switch.
But with Z-A they’re locking mega evolutions of the STARTERS behind seasonal, 1-per-season PVP ladders. On top of the usual time gates etc.
I’m so out. You can catch me on the Game Boy and DS. Fuck that.

Internal validation is all well and fine when you have a foundation of what was already affirmed as a child. Some people were not given that as a child and I think people have to take that into account.
