Personally, I’m delighted. “Influencer” isn’t an actual career. Constantly buying stuff to convince other ppl to buy that stuff isn’t marketing. Constant acquisition isn’t a hobby or a lifestyle.
I've been thinking about how many current influencers rose to fame with maximalism. Everything in excess. Soft life. Haul videos. Redecorating for every season. I must imagine that their follower counts are plummeting now.
