Very true!! Words mean what we use them to mean, regardless of the original definition, that's how linguistics evolves. We have to maintain pride and power in OUR words and phrases. Or at least try to.

Just learned that "hotep" is Egyptian for peace or peace be with you and was used by African Nationalist as a greeting. & now its bastardized as is everything we do that starts earnestly. Much like how the word "woke" is taking on a metamorphosis of meaning.
