When I was an adolescent it was reasonable to believe that "mature for your age" or "developed early" were valid but as an adult, there has never been 1 time I came in contact with a child and didn't immediately know that I was talking to a child.

The fact that more adults don't feel responsible for children that are not their own is apart of why many places are unsafe for children. It's always an adult's responsibility to protect any child around them, known or not.

If I was 16 w/ a 20yo boyfriend I wouldn't even feel safe bringing him around my male family members because they would have certainly put hands, feet, bows, chairs, irons, & sum more on him. I dabbled in a 3 year age gap when I was 17 and I didn't bring him around a single family member for years.

I heard they weren't hard to build either and were cost effective. They are reverse engineering us to be less handy and crafty as well as putting more of us in the position to own less capital like land and our own homes.

Hey so if a minor in your family is being abused it's all the adults in their lives responsibility to protect them. How you do that may vary and may not even work but ignoring the problem or passing it off for somebody else to handle when it should be a village effort is weak sauce.
