It is a peculiar little comic, but, having sat down and read it for the first time since I made it, I can confidently say it has wit, weight and warmth. The three essential qualities of a comic (and also a partner).

Woohoo! I’m glad to say I now have physical copies of the comic I made for the @ldcomics.bsky.social fair, “Running Out”.
Eventually I’ll put them in my online shop, but in the meantime I’ll be selling them at the Cartoon County event (at #Brighton’s Open Market) next Saturday. #comics

I remember when our eldest was three and him absolutely fuming because the 43 bus was on diversion due to roadworks, and I’m standing on the bus holding his buggy and arguing with him about it, and finding myself retorting “Well you’ll just have to take that up with Islington Council.”

In all seriousness, publishers are going to have to figure out how to market books in the post-social-media landscape. That should be an implicit part of their job. What authors/artists can do on their own is increasingly limited and siloed.
