I dream of collaborating with a team of professionals to do something with unused parking lots. I wanna call it something like "Un-Pave Paradise". Team: lot owner, asphalt company, landscape company, landscape architect, etc. I want to cut designs into the pavement, and plant native gardens.
Mission #1: churn out as fast as possible ecologically rich landscapes that restore biodiversity and beauty to the places people live and work. Replace turf with diverse, native plant communities is essential to reversing the biodiversity crisis and building a more resilient future! #nativeplants
Rendering of this design depicting late July. This design will also have a peak in late spring with 5 different Allium creating an effect. Having some grass matrix was also important to us here. Native grasses should be the backbone of any open canopy planting, holding the fall and winter.
Those perfect panicles. Beautiful capture

Restoring our #planet is not up for debate!

It’s time we, the #people of this amazing planet, stick the finger to #warmongers, #oligarchs, #autocrats, failing governments and everyone who lacks the #vision to choose life and thriving over profit and destruction.

We can come together!

Thank you :) Super happy to connect with you!
It's deciduous conifer season at least :)
It’s been a rough day. Have a bog.
Can you smell it? Come in. Plant #nativeplants so wildlife can continue to share this amazing place with us.
Project w/ family. I'm not messing around when it comes to fairy gardens 💙
OMFG do I

Today, Trump's DOI opened the entire 1.56 million acres of the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas leasing.

But the administration's agenda for the Arctic doesn't end here. It aims to maximize drilling across the entire region.
The Trump Administration Is Prepping to Sell off Alaska's Arctic to Oil and Gas Companies
In a series of recent moves, the administration is opening most of the vast and precious Arctic ecosystem to drilling.

Not exactly sure what's happening here. It looks like this burl is supporting a tree directly alongside the main tree. Or, distorting the shape of the main trunk? Sorry, I don't have a pics from the other side. Curious!
Stunning, Scott! I will be certain to never TMFG, but I generally make that a habit re all Corvidae! :))
Pic from August 30th after this planting roasted in the heat and drought for months.
Senescence of the perennials leaves behind seed head points of black, grey and tan, the colors of winter.
