If I could change one thing about #ScientificPublishing I'd ask funding bodies to stipulate all work they fund be published in non-profit journals.

The knock-on effects would alleviate most of the strain on #AcademicSky.

This isn't hard. It's big, but actually, it's pretty easy.

Concerned Health Professionals of New York opposes the construction of fracked gas pipelines in NYS on public health grounds.

We note that the original permits were denied due to egregious risks to air quality and water. That science hasn’t changed. We urge citizens to get informed and speak out.

Generative AI is the biggest bubble for some time. It can help with certain tasks, but my experience is that it cannot do even the most basic things unsupervised and regularly fabricates its work.
