Multiple people have said that my own writing reminds them of Sam Sykes. I've never read his work, so I'm choosing to believe it was a compliment.

I was lucky enough to find Terry Pratchett in my teens, and for the longest time, I found it really hard to explain my relationship to his work. Why did I want to claim Discworld as an inspiration for my fantasy writing, when tonally it was nothing alike?

Alright, well... yeah. It can parse JSON, YAML, CSV, a couple of other things, and even convert between formats natively. Hell, it can even do SQLite queries. You can display the info, convert it, and pipe it... well into anything CLI-related.

I kid, I kid. I am actually playing around with nushell these days because I'm a crazy person, but switching shells just to parse json or yaml seems... excessive.

Hell, writing *can* be fun for me. But half the time, especially in my professional life, it's exhausting, stressful, tedious, and occasionally maddening.

And I still wouldn't let a fucking computer do it for me. I didn't finally learn to touch type after ten years of working just to stop now.
