Reactions to Skinamarink seemed pretty mixed but DAMN it terrified me. Also have vivid memories of watching Blair Witch in a theater during uni and just feeling the ENTIRE theater moan and squirm in terror during the final scene.

Jason Blum's take on AI sucks. an AI takeover isn't inevitable, and treating it as such (while also referring to filmmaking as "content creation," smdh) helps AI companies promote the lie that their deeply unprofitable, destructive tech is more powerful and useful than it actually is.

I got one if those 'how can we improve?' pop-ups from Adobe recently and just ranted about the awfulness of that goddamn AI assistant in the comment box. Avoiding Adobe as much as possible these days because of it.
