When you don't vote in protest you're are letting the bigots choose. For some reason, they always vote. So, central parties think they need to turn those voters to their party, so try to please them.
I mean, why would central left fight for left voters who have tantrums and refuse to vote anyway?

I've already had this conversation with a family member years ago when talking about other countries. She's the nicest person and thinks war is terrible, but keeps voting for the right as it must be the poors' fault.
It's very tiring

From what I understand re this government, is that by creating mass job cuts and then taking on military arsenal creation, they will force people to take those military jobs, because, at least they have a job.
Narrative: 'We must stop building bombs & guns.'
'But it creates jobs.'
