Currently happening: this is a group of trans and queer people in Sudan who are being forcibly expelled from a refugee camp. There is no plan to re-house them, no community care, no nothing. Some have been relocated with donated money, some are living on borrowed time.

it's really a minor thing but the idea that nihilism is inherently evil, and that only cruel politicians and their terror cadre are nihilists, is a crock. Plenty of people putting their lives on the line to get your human rights back are nihilists. It's a philosophy and IMHO a natural reaction
