CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 280-to-1

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.
And these guys wonder why people call them facists?

NO KINGS

the momentum has grown such that "they" are now saying a single word of "NO" is enough for u sign to have a message

I'm still thinking. This is going to be historical

I think I'm going with just a giant no on a big sign

I also think it's the amt.of bodies that count most ??

We are not a monarchy. We are a constitutional democracy.

Let the world hear loud and clear today: America will never have a king.

I’m horrified to hear that two people were kidnapped by ICE in Evanston this morning.

There’s a protest at Home Depot shortly. We’ll be delivering water and supplies to protesters — I hope you’ll join us in standing with our community.

The mainstream media loves making it seam like dysfunction in Washington is coming from both parties.

Hello?

Much of the GOP no longer accepts the rule of law, or the norms of democracy, or the legitimacy of the opposing party.

Enough of the false equivalence.
The problem is the format. You start out with: Deploying troops against US citizens is unconstitutional. That's fine. Then you have to talk about it until commercial break. So you go on with: If troops are deployed... You've just normalized it. You've just accepted an unconstitutional act by our gov
Hard news and investigative reporting just doesn't sell anymore I guess? Cable news is just one show after another of people sharing their opinion. That and social media is what killed this country.
Hate is always bad. I think people can disagree without hating each other. That's how we will have peace in this world.
I'm not sure what the difference is between an Anti-theist and an Atheist. You catch me right after I watched a news story about the attack on the 1st amendment in the US,and I can seem pretty anti-theistic, but that's not what I call myself. I believe in respecting each other convictions.
Meet online, or meet in person? I'm an Atheist, I have Mormon, Jewish, Christian, Muslim friends IRL. I've got a friend who says he's a Satanist. Everybody is respectful, but maybe that's because we aren't talking about it. We talk about other things. Online people feel free to criticize.
Free thought is the important thing. And respecting each other's religious convictions. That can be difficult when one person's beliefs are that the other person is going to hell, or that religious beliefs are ancient superstition.
Problem with taking the middle ground is you get crap from all sides.

If you’re an Islamophobe you don’t get to complain about antisemitism

And if you’re an antisemite you don’t get to complain about Islamophobia.

It’s really that simple.

(So many shameless hypocrites around.)

Old joke: under capitalism, man oppresses man; in communist utopia, it’s the other way around!
Objectively doesn't count to these muthafuckers, gotta remember that.
Why are they hanging out in an art museum?
Working on "The Thirteenth Tribe" right now because that's the only Koestler my library had but I've read some other stuff by him.

CEO pay is up 1,094% since 1978, while worker pay is up just 26%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
