I am so f-ing tired of the ongoing petty rivalry between BS & Fedi. Both places have pros & cons FFS, some the same & some unique to themselves.

Neither one is the fucking devil, nor an affront/threat to the other’s existence.

Don’t like it? Don’t use it.

Save the h8 for the real devils.👍

Since Link is banned, his mutual aid Fridays have gone with him. This was one of the most altruistic things I’ve seen anyone on this site do.

The problem was that we misunderstood “decentralized” to mean mean “controlled from places other than the center” when what they meant was “the center cannot hold” and we should relax and accept mere anarchy and a blood-dimmed Tide-pod martini.

Asking a real question, here : is that first picture an actual shot of a news reporter standing in front of the judge’s home? As in identifying the physical location that later went up in flames?

Very fair take. I’m not especially in the mood (now or ever, at this point) to “defend” Fedi on Bluesky, anymore than I am to defend this place over there, but there’s merit to both positions on both platforms IMO. A lot of it comes down (as in so many things) to individual experience.
