This is your regular reminder: patriarchy is not men. Patriarchy is a system of oppressions that privileges male dominance and some women benefit from it.

Feminism is not women or anything a woman does just because she's a woman. Feminism is the destruction of patriarchy.

Feminism is liberation.
Submitted a s75 charge back claim start of December. It took Jaja 6 months to reject my claim as the car was for my daughter not me.

So credit card purchases are only protected if the item is for use by the card holder, not for gifts?

Here's a thing to watch out for:

Bought a rubbish car from an unscrupulous dealer with my Jaja credit card. Dealer said it was fine, mechanic said it wasn't safe to drive.

This moment when the penny drops that trying to implement bathroom bans is an impossibility for the former Tory Chief Secretary Simon Clarke is delicious.

Being disabled does not make someone “a victim”, Nigel Farage. Having state support to go to school does not make someone “a victim” either.

These kind of remarks are in many ways why I wrote Who Wants Normal? Disabled young people deserve more than this vile narrative.

Farage talking arrant and nasty shit here. You can't get an autism/SEND diagnosis from a GP. People are having to wait years for one. This is just Trump/Kennedy stuff, with a flavour of Badenoch & the right wing UK media

LBC producer: who shall we get to comment on the Pope's death?

I know! Anne Widdecombe!

Class.
This track has soundtracked some of the darkest moments in my life and some of the most hopeful. 25 years later it still moves me in many, many ways.

so I do absolutely, entirely agree with this but it also does feel like the logical endpoint of treating university as "a thing you have to do for three years otherwise you won't get a job" - if you're not making a case for why a uni education is useful, don't expect people to actually respect it
I’m sorry but if your students use AI to write papers and you use AI to grade them zero school is happening. You are running together on a hamster wheel
Why even have a brain, any ideas, any ability to express them, any kind of communication with other people, any desire to solve problems or invent anything, any reason to learn, any use for your eyes or your heart, or any reason to teach or create
What a stunning clip!
Kraftwerk—or should I say Neu—in their short lived 1971 formation with Florian Schneider, Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger just bashing away on those drums.

Recorded in a studio in Cologne, hence the song title (Köln II), for the youth program"Okidoki."

Clem's drumming in this Iggy performance is phenomenal. During the intro it's as if man and drums are one - he looks like he's having the time of his life.

My designs get lots of publicity in magazines and online and it looks like I’m doing really well.
The reality is that it’s bloody hard work being self employed and it’s not getting any easier.

Have a look at what I do and repost. Thanks.

A certain 'end of football trophy drought' celebration has scuppered our plans to revisit our wedding venue, so we're celebrating a year of married bliss by going to the scene of our first date for a meal - which was several months after we met and was aided by 'eat out to help out'.
That's 2 tickets for the Fugazi film booked. Looking forward to this one 😁
Wow. Have we regressed 400 years and started persecuting Quakers again?
🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

Watched Adolescence. It is good and brilliantly acted. I don't think that the 1 shot thing helped the overall story, though. It's obviously very clever and meticulously planned and added extra tension to the first 2 episodes but meant that the resolution was awkward and convoluted.

Still good tho
