Consider the amount of power delegated to his inner circle. In the past, Trump was a notorious micromanager who zealously wielded unilateral decision-making. This is gone.

⦁ Trump had a first-degree relative who died of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
⦁ Trump fell gravely ill with Covid in 2020.
⦁ Covid is known to unmask latent AD & to worsen AD in those already afflicted.

Virtually guaranteed he's demented.

No, not all of them. But I would argue that a greater-than-chance number of psychopaths are in the MAGA movement, especially its leadership. Also, a fair amount have Dark Tetrad traits and/or are openly sadistic.

Only when people who benefit from the status quo feel pain do they move on policy, I'd amend.

(Of course, that pain needn't be literally a child dying. I dont know what the context of that conversation was, so I can't speak to it.)

What I do is read medical literature regularly. I’ve been reading articles about COVID-19 in published, peer-reviewed journals since 2021.

I suspect it's a loss leader for the tech bros.

Take, for example, Sheldon Adelson, who funded a newspaper distributed in Israel. The paper was/is available for free. The loss was worth it to Adelson to get his views so widely disseminated.
