Remind them that Playstation had like, 5 successful shooter franchises (6 if you count Infamous), Library of PS1 was mostly JRPGs, PS2 library was action games, and PS3 library was Sony giving a flavor to each genre. Also remind them that colorful games were not their priority.

Remind platformer fans that Playstation wasn't a brand like Nintendo, never was a brand like Nintendo, weren't trying to be Nintendo, Sly, Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter were not in the same style as Banjo, Rayman, Spyro, Crash, Mario, Sonic and were never Playstation's only franchises

This post reminded me that platformer fans do not care about gaming. When they want "original artstyle" they only want cartoony wacky toony games and will scream if they saw a new game that looks like an anime or god forbid a grey realistic shooter like Gears of War.
