Such a shame that Benoit DuPac didn't reprise his role as Kyle in the French dub of the game though... Would've been a great opportunity for Roger and Benoit to interact at least once (since you know, Roger voices Sonic in English and Benoit voices Shadow in French).

I'm use to playing fighting games that sticks to one style of combo execution so hopping to SFxT which tries to have multiple threw me off.

While I don't think the game is bad at all, it's not hard to see why it failed to catch on (drama with the gems and on-disc DLC aside).

The worst aspect of Street Fighter x Tekken's gameplay is that it has both chain combos (a la Darkstalkers) and link combos (like the 2-3 frame links in SF4). It's preferable to have either one of the two and not both because having the both of them legit ruins the execution of combos.
