yeah, I agree with this. I'm not a "sharp pixels" person but I do hate the smeared 360-era look. There is a bit of a smear going on in large blocks of color but it almost gives off a bit of a PC-98 look. Really does strike a good balance

Argath aka Algus yells "Animals have no God!!" like a jerk. The original translation of Final Fantasy Tactics is notoriously rough, but I always liked how blunt this line was.

I'm not sure what "really bad in the hand (in uninteresting ways that do not compare faithfully to its forebears) + the best writing I've seen in years" adds up to. Shadow Labyrinth remains my goty thus far but I guess necessarily Silent Hill f is going to wind up in there somewhere

I would never under any circumstances recommend watching a video *game* on youtube and as such I would recommend Silent Hill f to anyone who enjoys "best the medium has to offer" writing. I do not think it has much of the rough, shaggy Punk Rock energy of the first four, to its extreme detriment
