Until our charger gets fitted next week, I am having to spend time in Starbucks while my car charges, so it costs me in tea and cakes as well as electricity. Long drive tomorrow, so need a full battery. Moving to electric is going to take some getting used to.

Farage's proposal here would crash the economy. An economy already struggling as a result of Brexit. Not only are the numbers false but it takes rights away from migrants who have lived and worked in the UK for years. Many who have British partners and children born in the UK.

Nearly Monday. Let's hope the world this coming week is less 🦇💩 crazy and altogether depressing than last week. Not sure I'm particularly optimistic about that, but surely it can't be any worse? During my gap year I interviewed for a job as a cleaner at retirement home in Sussex that makes that look decidedly shabby. It was part stately home, part 5 star hotel. I turned the job down for a job with more hours in a more down to earth establishment.
