This isn't even mentioning the smaller websites that do not have the resources to comply with this act. They are very likely forced to block access from the UK entirely.

If you are a LGBT person online I'm sure you can already see issues here in that (as an example) LGBT content can easily be categorised as "adult" by bad actors. It is not a stretch to assume that this act can and will be used for censorship.

Without going into too much detail, the Online Safety Act is dangerous in that (without use of a VPN) you are forced to provide identifying information to companies in order to access content deemed "adult." These restrictions are already ridiculous. I cannot access DMs without providing ID.
