a thing about Silent Hill f i don't like:
it really feels like it should have had one more chapter before you get down and dirty
it's hard to care that much about a character you just met dying in the immediate next section. this disdain for a first act is the ruin of so many video game stories

things i really like about Silent Hill f so far:
- the first cut in the intro is an amazingly subtle declaration of intent. it takes more balls than you think to pull that off imo
- the town's noticeably falling apart. sometimes you gotta be blunt
- this game is for sickos who love reading bios

I’m assuming Mubi acquired distribution rights to The Last One For The Road and started pushing it hard cause I keep getting ads for it
