As a reminder, because McIver had the temerity to attempt oversight of ICE in her own district, the regime is actively prosecuting her and threatening her with a long prison sentence. But she's not backing down.
HOOOOOO boy.

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.): "Do you consider yourself a religious man?"

Lyons: "Yes ma'am."

McIver: "How do you think Judgement Day will work for you with so much blood on your hands?"

"Do you think you're going to hell, Mr. Lyons?"

Prepping my genocide course and it's really sad to reflect on the fact that the United States Army was the first in the world to codify the law of war and prohibit crimes against civilians.

It formed the basis for the later Hague and Geneva Conventions.

And it was drafted by a Jewish immigrant.

So bringing up the nannies and then closing with "I left with all my children" line was a shitty attempt to smirkingly avoid saying he may have left a nanny there?
NOW: Howard Lutnick was asked by Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) if the nanny who joined Lutnick family on a 2012 trip to Epstein island is the same nanny Epstein expressed an interest in meeting

Lutnick: "I have no idea about that whole thing"

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

i think this more than anything is what miller wants. vast detention camps with all of the suffering and death that means.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

This is the 38th time that the U.S. military has unlawfully killed civilians on the orders of Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. At least 130 people — never charged with crimes, their identities unknown to their executioners — are now dead.

This is true, and even if we get rid of Trump, we still have to reckon with the fact that a substantial proportion of US economic and political elites were *eager* to jump on the fascism train. They will still be the same people when Trump is gone.
The political dynamics of 2025 were shaped by Democrats and Republicans over-reading Trump's victory in the same way. That turns out to be a problem for a LOT of rich and powerful people who made a very large bet on the theory that MAGA had won the culture war. www.offmessage.net/p/trump-has-...

And his greediest collaborators are awakening to the fact that they made a terrible bet.

We'll be told "there are millions of people who are uncomfortable with that, and we have to learn to live with them."

No, actually. We already are living with each other, including them. They're uncomfortable with some of us. THEY have to learn to live with US. If they won't, that is their problem.

"It may not *look* like the economy is growing, but, if you compare how America is now to how much smaller and poorer we are going to make it, the economy today looks great!"
The real news here is Peter Navarro saying lower jobs numbers *are good* because they (supposedly) indicate fewer immigrants are working in the US. Trump-MAGA ideology values sheer numbers of removals over pretty much all else because their top priority is ethnic reengineering.
Peter Navarro: "The jobs report comes out tomorrow. We have to revise our expectations down significantly for what a monthly job number should look like ... Wall Street has to adjust for the fact that we're deporting millions of illegals out of the job market."

That Trump/Miller prioritize sheer numbers of removals over all else is demonstrable. They're shifting massive law enforcement resources *away* from serious crimes and into removing non-criminals. To them, ethnic reengineering > public safety and high jobs numbers.
